This case describes the present situation, existing problems, reasons and improved design of YH company, a highway maintenance and construction enterprise. The problems of YH company in recent years are low performance and high turnover. Through literature research and questionnaires, We analyze and find that the main problems of the compensation system in YH company are that compensation strategy doesn’t match the overall development strategy of the company, the salary level is inconsistent with market price, the external competitiveness is insufficient, the subsidies is too small, the salarystructure is unreasonable and the incentive effect is not obvious. In order to solve these problems, YH company optimized the design of its compensation system, according to the development needs of the company and the employees’ will, to strengthen management, professional and technical and production skills. Through redesign of compensation system, the company direct employees development in different positions, and make employees development channel more diversified, which enhanced the core competences of enterprises, and improved staff's work efficiency. |
